About

I am a professionally trained French–English translator and interpreter with decades of experience working in multilingual, international contexts. My current terminology work focuses on international environmental law and ocean governance, with a particular interest in the language of international treaties and policy frameworks.

I have worked extensively in international and multilingual environments, including high-level assignments requiring precision, clarity and consistency across languages. This experience informs the development of specialised terminology resources designed for professional use.

The Bokani Hart Terminology Series brings together structured English–French glossaries developed from treaty texts and related legal and policy instruments. Its aim is to support accurate and consistent usage in translation, interpreting and legal practice.

My work reflects a longstanding interest in language, meaning and the role of terminology in shaping international understanding and cooperation.
